There is a need for to take proactive measures in order to have some semblance of a road map for what you’re using the saved resources for. Planning is your bestie at this time and you can go far with you a little bit of intention.

The Magician - You have all that you need to manifest your dreams. Tapping into you innate abilities of intuition and self trust are key. The magician is able to use any and all things at their disposal to move and shift physical reality to their desire. You can have what you want, but you have to allow yourself to have it.

Full Moon in Cancer
We have our first full moon of the year on Jan.13th! The Moon is in her domicile which means she tends to be more comfortable here more so than within other signs except for when she is in Taurus which is where she finds exaltation. The moon is super charged in Cancer as this is the sign's ruler. This could be a really beneficial time to assess what nourishment means for you in relation to yourself and others. This full moon can come with a heightened sense of emotionality. There could be a sense of intense empathy and if unchecked there could be a tendency to pick up the both processed and unprocessed emotions from others in your immediate environment. Security is another common theme with the Moon in Cancer. This could manifest itself as material security in your home environment making sure you have all you need. Or it can manifest in healing others to feel resourced and taken care of at a time when everyone is in a state of need for connection, community and support. There is an extreme sensitivity that comes with the moon being in cancer, and there is the suggestion to make sure to take time for resting and allow yourself time to process any emotions or situations that come across your path with an open heart and mind.
Make sure you take time to delineate what is yours and what you could be picking up from others at this time. If you’re currently acting as a caregiver rather literally or metaphorically; it is important to make sure you take time for cleansing and releasing what is not yours; as there is the tendency to overload and take on the baggage or messes of others. That way you can continue your work from a state of peace and clarity. Remind yourself that your needs are just as valid as those you hold space for. What's in the cup is for you and all that runs over is for everyone else.
Looking to the mythology of Lunar Goddesses and spirits attributed to water can be beneficial at this time to get a stronger understanding around concepts of devotion, healing and community. When we look around our immediate environments we see how closely we are connected to those concepts or spirits that are always aligned with and guiding us, even without our conscious awareness.

This moon comes with such strong Water energy the suggestion is to take a spiritual or cleansing bath or just spending time in water in general to help recalibrate your nervous system and bring ease and relaxation in to your conscious awareness

*This isn't a soaking bath so take your bath or shower prior to using the bath and should ideally be done in the evening.

Put all ingredients into a large bowl or mansion jar and state your intention for cleansing and refreshment use whatever mantras, prayers or incantations you feel most aligned with.
Once all clean, take your cooling and cleansing bath and pour it on your body from the neck down while praying for cleansing, peace and renewal. Allow yourself to air dry and where white clothing for the rest of the evening.
Mars Rx in Cancer
On January 6th Mars continued its retrograde back into the watery sign of Cancer. Mars being the planet of ambition, competition, drive, and wars is out of its depths to say the least in the sign of cancer. In traditional astrological terms Mars is in fall in Cancer which means this is the least ideal house for mars. Mars has been in retrograde since Dec 6th 24’ and will station directly on Feb. 26th. That being said, it's not all doom and gloom. This could be a very pivotal time that allows you to see where in your life you have not established healthy boundaries. It could also be a magnifier of how you can carve out the time needed to create emotional and spiritual maturity. Mars is the planet that has historically been seen as “Hyper Masculine” and fiery is completely out of his domain in the historically “Feminine” watery sign of Cancer. Not to mention he's in retrograde so in in away it feels like mars is in the rehabilitation after a long battle and is being forced to sit and heal while being attended to by a very overworked nurse who will certainly attend to Mars as her patient however Mars in order to heal has to exercise patience and allow someone else to take the lead (this is not something that comes naturally to mars however.) Consider Mars Rx in Cancer a time to allow yourself the space to not be in the drivers seat. There could be a lot of frustration that comes with the energy of “wanting to feel good” or “not feeling like yourself” but the key here is to just allow things to take their course and know that you are being called to have emotional and spiritual maturity about whatever area this energy is most present in your life. I know how !#*$ing annoying right?
The two card in the Tarot that come to mind when thinking of Mars in Cancer are; The Tower and The Chariot. The Tower represents things coming to a head. A culmination of energy that needs release and will find its release by any means necessary. This comes with a message to not ignore any feelings of tension and emotional ruts but to address them head on that way whatever comes up you are able to at-least have an idea where you’re going to land if you have to jump ship. The Chariot brings the energy of anatomy and feelings of having complete agency over your own destiny not matter what you encounter on your path. The saying “What happens to you is not your fault, but how you deal with it is your responsibility” could not be more apt with this specific transit.
Ritual:
This could be as easy as a journal dump. Get a pen with red ink and a piece of paper. Use these prompts as potential diving boards or crash out on the page if you need to. No one will be reading this & Trust me it works just the same.

If using the toilet method you can toss the paper in the trash so as to not mess with your plumbing. Working with crystals like Hematite and Jaspers can be great allies for grounding and staying present.
Venus in Pisces
In astrological terms Venus is exalted in the sign of Pisces. This placement brings good energy all around. Venus being the planet of beauty, diplomacy, luxury and pleasure links up with the magnanimous, good governing and expansive energies of Jupiter (Pisces planetary ruler). Venus in Pisces brings a sense of ease, and enjoyment when the stars annually come together. This is a great time to assess areas of your life that could use more TLC. This is also a great placement for bringing in new ways of expressing beauty in your life; this could be in ways you choose to express personal beauty. Trying new styles or esthetics could come up around this time. Maybe you’ve been wanting to change your hair or your color scheme in your wardrobe.
